On the back-inside-flap of the paper jacket for my copy of World Aflame, we find these words:

    "The more I have travelled," says the evangelist, "the more convinced I have become that the Biblical revelation of man, his origin, his present predicament, and his destiny is true."

    WORLD AFLAME is frightening. It fully accepts the Biblical prophecy that the world as we know it will come to an end before a new world of peace and righteousness comes into being.

    Rev. Dr. Billy Graham continued to support this view of the Holy Scripture that is John's Revelation in later years, as he continued writing other books like his Til Armageddon (1981), and Approaching Hoofbeats: The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1983), and Storm Warning (1992).

    Now I propose that everyone on Earth should consider it an extremely significant warning from God... that Rev. Dr. Billy Graham took this position on the looming future of our world-- in his belief that God's Judgment and the Return of Christ is imminent, very near indeed... and that an Anti-Christ World-Dictator will precede the Return of King Jesus Christ.

    Remember this is the preacher and evangelist who has preached face-to-face to more people on planet Earth than any other Protestant Christian in the history of our planet! Why would God want him to be able to reach so many millions of people with his message if his view of the future was all wrong? Yet God blessed him with a bigger audience for his sermons than any other Protestant Christian preacher in our world's history.

    To me, that fact is additional proof that Dr. Graham's interpretation of Revelation is a correct view of what we must expect in the near future; and it thoroughly corroborates the perspective of well-known author Hal Lindsey. Hal Lindsey's interpretation of Revelation as a book of actual prophecy has been mocked by a number of liberal theologians ever since The Late Great Planet Earth appeared in 1970, but his prophetic beliefs are apparently very much in agreement with those of Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. John Walvoord, Dr. Harold Lindsell, Dr. Carl F. H. Henry, Dr. Tim LaHaye, Rev. John Hagee, Dr. Jack Van Impe, Rev. J. R. Church and Gary Stearman, Rev. David Willkerson, Dr. Henry M. Morris, Dr. Adrian Rogers, Dr. Jim Murk, Dr. Charles Ryrie, Dave Hunt, Zola Levitt, Rabbi Moshe Laurie... and of course myself, as well. Rev. David Wilkerson's book The Vision was similarly mocked by the liberal theologians when it first came out in 1974.

    Almost all of the Bible-prophecy authorities (certainly all those named above) are in agreement that a 7-years-long period of Tribulation will be coming upon the world very soon now... possibly beginning as soon as 2012, or not too long after that year-- and I think that way too. Among conservative Bible scholars, this is the norm, not an aberration... although a few, like Pat Robertson of TV's 700 Club, may question the exact timing of what Christians call "the gathering up" or "the Rapture." Pat Robertson, I know, thinks that this will happen at the final Return of Christ (at the end of the 7 years of the Tribulation period) and, by his own understanding of Scripture, will not occur as a separate event preceding the prophesied 7-years-long period of tribulation.

    I also find it very interesting and significant that J. R. Church and Gary Stearman have recently revealed to me (through their TV-and-internet program called Prophecy In The News) that there were actually Jewish rabbis living in the 1100's who were also predicting a 7-years-long period of Tribulation for the nation of Israel-- and the coming of the Messiah at the end of those 7 years. The rather famous Jewish rabbi/scholar Rashi is one such prognosticator from the twelfth century A.D., and he based his prophetic interpretation completely upon the Hebrew Scripture of the Jewish Bible. Those rabbis were making their own very similar predictions long before the Jews were ever even regathered from their dispersion to recreate the modern nation of Israel.

    This future development was anticipated even in the 1100's by the Jewish Bible scholars in that time period... and they as well prophesied the fact that the recreated nation of Israel would someday be lush and green with abundant agricultural improvement under the administration of the regathered Jews of modern Israel! And just so it did become. Halleluyah! What an amazing discovery.

    I think I've read somewhere that even the Roman Catholic pope is now likewise expecting imminent Judgment upon the world and the Return of Jesus Christ in the very near future. When people of such importance in the Christian world as both Dr. Billy Graham and the Pope are simultaneously expecting the soon-coming Return of Jesus Christ to Earth to save us from chaos and from an Anti-Christ Dictator. . . I'd say it's definitely time for all Christians to start listening . . . and to also start looking up to the sky for our Holy Redeemer. Because our Savior and Lord, King Jesus the Christ, will soon be descending from the skies in a sudden Return to Earth.

    In his 1992 book Storm Warning, we find that Dr. Billy Graham has written what seems to have become an accurate prediction of our new worldwide financial distress, even though it only happened in 2008, and not before 2000, as Dr. Graham had expected. In Storm Warning he has written the following words. . .

    ... But there is no end in sight for the government's debt. Today the United States has a direct debt of $3 trillion and contingent liabilities of $6.5 trillion. America's foreign debt alone is in excess of $650 billion. We have gone from being the world's largest creditor to being the largest debtor nation. Such statistics add to the storm warnings we are seeing.
    ... Financial adviser Larry Burkett, author of The Coming Economic Earthquake, warns Christians to prepare for a day of reckoning. His evidence is compelling, and his calculations of the financial and moral failures in America and the world show just how far the ravages of the Apocalypse have already taken us. I have no doubt that a financial judgment day is coming for the United States before the end of this century unless our financial problems are addressed. [ from p. 272-273 ]

    Well, it didn't happen before the end of the 20th century, but it did finally happen in 2008, when Dr. Graham's economic prediction finally caught up with us. In Storm Warning, Dr. Billy Graham also writes these words concerning the Tribulation period of our world's history:

    Whenever you look closely at the prophecies of the end times, you will inevitably raise dark specters and enigmas that trouble the soul. That is as it should be, and that is why God has given us such pronounced warnings of this coming storm. [ from p. 275 ]

    Yes, God has promised this planet to His Son, Jesus Christ, and someday it will be His. He will bring an end to all the injustice, the oppression, the wars, the crime, the terrorism that dominate our newspapers and television screens today. But before that time comes, the four horsemen are going to vent their storm of fury across the pages of history.
    For the Christian believer, the return of Christ is comforting, for at last men and women of faith will be exonerated. They will be avenged. The nonbeliever will see and understand why true Christians marched to the sound of another drum. But for the sinful unbeliever, the triumphant return of Christ will prove disastrous, because Christ's return ensures final judgment. [ from p. 278 ]

    Consider what happened in John's next vision. It is a picture of the absolute horror of the final judgment. Carefully, the Lamb opened the sixth seal (Revelation 6:12-17). Suddenly, chaos gripped the universe. An earthquake that no Richter scale could measure shakes the entire world. The sun is eclipsed completely. In fact, reports John, "the sun turned black... the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind" (Revelation 6:12-13).
    Here is a storm of apocalyptic proportions. The world trembles with terror. The great cities collapse. John sees kings, princes, generals, the rich, the mighty, slaves, free, every human being left on the earth running to escape the horror of God's final judgment. They flee to mountain caves. They cower behind rocks and boulders. But there is no escape. Desperately they cry out, "Hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?" (Revelation 6:16-17).
    There will be a day of reckoning when God closes His books on time and judges every creature, living and dead. This vision of the judgments leading to the final judgment permeates the sixty-six books of the Holy Scripture. Before John's vision it was called the "day of wrath" (Zephaniah 1:15, Romans 2:5). Amos called it "the day of the Lord" (Amos 5:18), as did Jesus' own disciple, Peter (2 Peter 3:10). Paul, again and again, called it "the day of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 1:8; Philippians 1:6). It is often referred to as the Great Tribulation.
    All through history there have been days of judgment. The first judgment of God fell on Adam and Eve at the beginning of time (Genesis 3:16-19). Their original sin brought God's day of wrath and a permanent curse on all who followed. God judged Cain. God judged the descendents of Cain with the flood that Noah escaped. Other judgments include the confusing of tongues at Babel, the fiery destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the captivity and dispersion of the Israelites. [ from p. 278-279 ]

    Like myself, Dr. Billy Graham started out life as a Presbyterian, but as a young man he later switched to the Baptist denomination and became a Southern Baptist, even though his wife Ruth remained a Presbyterian until the day she died. I made that transition from Presbyterian to Southern Baptist myself, and one of the main reasons for my own switch is the fact that I thought the Presbyterian theology had gotten too liberal, especially in the matter of eschatology (the doctrine of future things). The Presbyterian pastors of the US, you see, as well as their Sunday School teachers, are usually inclined to insist that John's Revelation is "not prophecy of the future," that it is only "apocalyptic literature," and that "the Beast" of Revelation is only a reference to the long-dead Roman emperor Nero.

    Those Christians who strongly believe that John's book of Revelation is a prophetic unveiling of a future world's chaos and the actual Return of King Jesus Christ to save the planet Earth are, I am certain, with this warning far more likely to try hard to evangelize the entire world than are those who believe otherwise. Dr. Billy Graham is in this regard the living proof of my proposition. He shows also, I think, the importance of holding a correct view of eschatology, if any Christian is to successfully maintain a right attitude toward Jesus Christ and toward His work on Earth.

    I sincerely maintain that one of the biggest reasons for Dr. Billy Graham's determination to evangelize the whole world on such a massive scale... must have been his fervent belief in the soon-coming Tribulation period and the soon-coming Return of Christ after that period of Tribulation.

    With a similar sense of expectancy to that of Dr. Billy Graham himself, I am now much more inclined than in my Presbyterian childhood to await the physical, real-time event which is the soon-coming, near-future Return of our Lord and Savior, King Jesus the Christ!   Check Online Audio-Visual Bible    Questions List

      9  Didn't some very early US presidents write assertively about the need for Christian people to defend Western Christian culture against the invasive imperialism of militant Islam? I heard something about Thomas Jefferson, John Quincy Adams, and Theodore Roosevelt trying to warn everybody, didn't I ??? 

      Yes, that's quite true. US president Thomas Jefferson was once greatly distressed by the savagery and barbarism of the Muslim pirates of the Barbary Coast, then called "the Barbary Pirates," who were at that time attacking and enslaving US naval vessels. The peaceful American ships traveling in the Mediterranean Sea found their sailors and American passengers frequently being assaulted and kidnapped by the Barbary Coast pirates. The pirates would hold hostage the surviving crew members and passengers from each sailing ship which they had victimized.

      The innocent American hostages were to be immediately sold into life-long slavery by the barbarous Muslim terrorists, because they were "infidels" and because it was profitable for the pirates to sell them... unless the US first agreed to buy them back with the "better offer" of a huge ransom price. The extortion of money from "infidel" foreign governments (like the US and the nations of Europe) was a big part of the money-making racket of the Muslim pirates, a scheme by which they managed to gain great wealth and at the same time punished the "infidel" nations for their state of Christianity.

      The same tactic used by the Barbary Coast Muslim pirates in 1785 is still being used today by the current Iranian and Arab Muslim terrorists, who have kidnapped Americans and held them hostage for ransom (or death) even in contemporary times... as it was done, for example, by the Ayatollah Khomeini's terrorists during the later administration of US president Jimmy Carter... and by Arab Muslim terrorists during the subsequent administrations of all recent US presidents.

      The militant Muslim pirates of these North Africa Muslim nations (Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tripoli) sailed out from Africa's savage Barbary Coast and thus made great profit from their outrageous acts of naval terrorism. Unless the US government first bought freedom for the captured American passengers by paying a huge ransom price to the kidnapping Muslim terrorists, the pirates would immediately sell the American passengers into life-long slavery-- rather than just beheading them all.

      The familiar Muslim custom of beheading the "infidels" at home and abroad would of course mean for them a loss of the "valuable merchandise" which was the group of recently-captured American Christians. The remedy therefore was to either sell their imprisoned American Christians as slaves or extort vast sums of money from the foreign government of the "enemy" Christians. So the Muslim pirates made a big profit either way it went.

      President Thomas Jefferson thus sought ways to deal with Islamo-fascism in its earliest assaults on the United States. The need to resist such Islamic terrorism threats to the safety and security of the United States was plainly evident to the founding fathers, even in the time of the very foundation of the United States.

      On p. 119 of the book Thomas Jefferson (1918), written by David Saville Muzzey, Ph.D., who was then a professor of history at Colombia University, I have found the very enlightening quote that follows below:

      An American brig, the Betsy, was seized and taken to Morocco in the spring of 1785, and its crew finally liberated only by the intervention of Spain. When asked by [Thomas] Jefferson with what right his people made war with an unoffending nation at peace with them, the Tripolitan envoy in London replied that it was "written in the Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet [Mohammed] were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful [Mohammedans] to plunder and enslave."
      Outrageous as the depradations of these fanatical pirates were, the impotent government of the United States under the Articles of Confederation could not stop them. Jefferson was ordered to make a "present" of $20,000 to the Dey of Algiers, the "King of Cruelties," and another of $20,000 to the Sultan of Morocco. Tripoli demanded $150,000, with a tip of $15,000 for the ambassador, to guarantee a perpetual peace.

    While in France, Jefferson endeavored to propose a naval alliance with European nations that would specifically oppose the Muslim Barbary pirates who were likewise raiding & enslaving European vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, but he was unsuccessful in his attempt to establish an international alliance against the Muslim terrorists of the northern Africa coast.

      In his American Minute message for the day of February 16, William J. Federer reminds Americans that in the famous anthem of our US Marines, there is a musical line which says "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli... we will fight our country's battles on the land and in the sea." The memorable line here quoted refers to a famous encounter of the US Marines with the Muslim pirates of Tripoli... who were then called "the pirates of the Barbary Coast."

      William Federer writes:

      President Jefferson finally sent in the Marines, and in what Admiral Horatio Nelson described as the "most bold and daring act of the age," Lieut. Stephen Decatur sailed his ship, the Intrepid, on the night of FEBRUARY 16, 1804, into the pirate harbor, burned a ship, and escaped unharmed amidst fierce enemy fire.
      The Marines captured Tripoli and forced the Pasha to make peace on U.S. terms.

    Federer's American Minute message for Feb. 16 states that...

      "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli" -- the Marine anthem recalls when Muslim Barbary Pirates of North Africa committed terrorist acts on American ships, selling crews into slavery.
      Tripoli demanded tribute and a treaty was attempted, but it was not honored [by the Muslims] as the Koran prohibited friendship with infidels:
      "Infidels are those who declare 'God is Christ, the son of Mary'" -- Surah 5:17;
      "Infidels are those that say 'God is one of three in a Trinity'" -- Surah 5:73;
      "Infidels are your sworn enemies" -- Surah 4:101.

    Thomas Jefferson even went so far as to obtain a Muslim holy-book, but only in order to study it, so that he might better understand these enemies of the US. He hoped that through a study of the enemy's mind, he might better understand the nature of the threat of Islam and the religious fanaticism of the terrorizing "Barbary Pirates."

      And what would President Thomas Jefferson have learned from his strategic study of the Koranic writings in the holy-book of the Muslim pirates? According to the same American Minute message of William Federer, it would be exactly this:

      The Koran continued:
      "Make war on the infidels" -- Surah 9:123;
      "When you meet the infidel in the battlefield strike off their heads" -- Surah 47:4;
      "Muhammad is Allah's apostle, those who follow him are ruthless to the infidels" -- Surah 48:29;
      "Take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends" -- Surah 5:51.

    From former US president John Quincy Adams, in essays written prior to 1830, come the following quotes concerning Muslim terrorism, the threat of Islamic imperialism, and the unending conflict between Islam and Western Christian culture:

      In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian [i.e., Muhammad], combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. The essence of his doctrine was violence and lust: to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature…. Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant… While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men.

  The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mahomet is the prophet of God.

  As the essential principle of his faith is the subjugation of others by the sword, it is only by force, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated.

    U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt was born in 1858, and became our youngest-ever president in 1901. Theodore Roosevelt also saw the danger of Islamic imperialism to Western civilization and Christendom. In his 1916 book Fear God And Take Your Part, Theodore Roosevelt wrote:

    The 7th century Christians of Asia and Africa...had trained themselves not to fight, whereas the Moslems were trained to fight.
  Christianity was saved in Europe solely because the peoples of Europe fought the Mohammedans who invaded.
  The civilization of Europe, America and Australia exists today only because of the victories of civilized man over the enemies of civilization...that is, to beat back the Moslem invader.

    Earlier, in 1909, Theodore Roosevelt also warned the United States that:

  The thought of modern industry in the hands of Christian charity is a dream worth dreaming. The thought of industry in the hands of paganism is a nightmare beyond imagining.
  The choice between the two is upon us.

    The above warning of former US president "Teddy" Roosevelt seems quite prescient as I type up this material in Jan. 2009, with Muslim Pakistan already possessing nuclear weaponry and the genocidal Muslim madmen of Iran merely days away from achieving the same status. "The thought of industry in the hands of paganism is a nightmare beyond imagining" indeed, but this is the reality that is now upon us!

    U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt also wrote in his 1916 book Fear God And Take Your Part that:

    Christians of Asia and Africa proved unable to wage successful war with the Muslim conquerors; and in consequence Christianity practically vanished from the two continents. …Wherever the Muhammadans have had complete sway … Christianity has ultimately disappeared.

    The quotations from U.S. president Theodore Roosevelt found above are ones I discovered through William J. Federer and his daily American Minute e-mails service.       Other great Christians who wrote about the threat of Islamic imperialism to Western Christian culture include the Protestant Reformers Martin Luther and John Calvin, as well as Rev. Jonathan Edwards, the great American preacher who sparked the revival of the First Great Awakening in the US. Also John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church denomination. All four of these great Christian men conceived imperialistic Islam to be a MAJOR anti-Christ force in the world and a MAJOR threat to Western Christian culture.

      Martin Luther and John Calvin are perhaps better remembered for their concern that Counterfeit Religion (which they conceived to be the Roman Catholic Church of their time period) was the major anti-Christ force opposing their culture, but they also considered Mohammadanism (Islam) to be the other half of the two anti-Christ powers that threatened Western Christianity.

      The British prime minister Winston Churchill, a great leader of England during World War II, likewise perceived Islamic fascism to be a very dangerous and world-threatening force on planet Earth. Winston Churchill saw Islamo-fascism as a barbaric and totalitarian system very similar in its methods to those found in Europe under the fascist dictators and under the hateful Nazis of Germany's National Socialism. Writing against the dangers of imperialistic Islam in 1899, Winston Churchill declared:

      How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property—either as a child, a wife, or a concubine—must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
      Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die. But the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytising faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science—the science against which it had vainly struggled—the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

    The words above are taken from Winston Churchill's book The River War, first edition, Vol. II, passages on pages 248-50 (London: Longmans, Green & Co., 1899). You will notice that Winston Churchill there mentions the rise of Islam in Central Africa, and it is also worth noting here that imperialistic Muslim armies in various countries of Africa have recently massacred many communities of African Christians even in the last two decades.

      The Muslim militants are often selling into slavery, even today, small Christian children in African nations who have somehow survived the Islamic massacre of their parents... unfortunate and victimized parents, brutally slaughtered by Islamic armies, who had earlier tried to take a more peaceful route as ordinary Christian believers in one of Africa's peaceful Christian tribes.

      Such violent raids, battles, beheadings, and massacres by modern-day Muslim militants-- as well as the very typical Islamic enslavement of other humans as being only hated "infidels," whom they always consider contemptible and sub-human-- have been evident in the imperialism of Muslim cultures for a great many centuries already. It merely repeats in modern times an ages-old pattern of the barbaric Muslim militants who came forth from Tripoli and Africa's Barbary Coast.

      It is all a clear repetition of the behavior pattern of those fanatical Muslim pirates of Africa's Barbary Coast, who were in 1785 already busy killing and enslaving the hated "infidels" in the foreign ships that dared to sail on the Mediterranean Sea. Those Muslim pirates were often selling the white Christian passengers of American sailing vessels into life-long slavery, or using them instead for the extortion of large sums of money and personal profit.       10  Wasn't it only a kind of mockery when the Romans laughingly called Jesus, "the King of the Jews"?

      Pilate recognized a great truth about Jesus (Yeshua) when he had a sign written out and placed atop the wooden cross of Jesus' crucifixion—a sign saying that He was "the King of the Jews"!

      11  If Jesus is the King of the Jews and the King of Israel, why do all those militant Muslim nations dream of exterminating all the Jews on Earth… and annihilating the nation of Israel? Didn't you say before that Jesus is the real king of Israel?

      Yeshua the Messiah, known to us Western Christians as Jesus the Christ, is the soon-coming King of the Jews and the King of Israel, but He's also the King of the entire Universe. When He comes back to Earth again in the near future, Jesus will descend from the clouds through the atmosphere of Earth, and the first thing Jesus will do will be to turn His wrath against the Arab and Muslim and Marxist nations which are seeking to destroy His nation of Israel and His people the Jews.

      12  How does the Jewish-born Jesus feel about the fact that so many genocidal maniacs, like Hitler and the mad Nazis of the Nazi Holocaust, which killed 6 million Jews during WWII… or genocidal maniacs in Iran and other Muslim nations, are eagerly wanting to exterminate all the Christians and Jews of the world in a great final Holocaust?

      That's clearly a Satanic goal that is only suitable for the Anti-Christ armies of the world. The signs are sponsored by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. What do you think about this stuff?

      Yes. It's scary, because it's so opposite to the truth. I don't approve of this kind of "advertising" at all, because I know this nation started out as a Christian nation, just a couple of centuries back. In fact, it's BECAUSE the Muslims all think of the United States as a Christian nation that they attack us with the terrorist tactics of the militants and seek to subvert the Christian foundation of our US government. I feel such advertising is very deceptive and could mislead a lot of ignorant atheists, humanists, and even some "Christians" who really don't know much about the Christian Bible. Those guys know that their holy-book declares the Jewish holy book and the Christian holy book (our Bible) to be utterly untrue, full of lies and corruption. They know that YHWH was the God of the Jews, and that the Father God of Yeshua (Jesus) was declared to be a God of Love and Mercy, a God of Light in Whom there is no Darkness.

      It's really bizarre that the Muslims are doing such a thing right here in the US, pretending as they are that the God of Moses and Jesus was the same as their God, and that the faith of Moses and Jesus was the same as that of the Muslim prophet. They KNOW this is not true, so why do they suggest such an idea?

      A Muslim defender of the signs is claiming, it seems, that anyone who is submissive to God is a Muslim, so the signs are supposed to be covered by a broader-than-normal definition of the word Islam. But let's face it: This is a religion that frequently beheads enemies and opponents of all sorts who don't perfectly match up with a much narrower definition of what "submission to God" is supposed to be!

      It's partly because of misinformation of that sort being spread widely in the US that I've decided to put up all these new Q & A web sites. The modern-day regions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan were actually provinces of China's T’ang Empire until the year 751 A.D., at which time they were conquered by Muslims.

      At that time they were separated from China and annexed to the ever-growing Muslim empire. The natives of these once-Chinese regions of Asia, formerly a part of China, are now part of the vast Islamic world-conquest, forcibly converted to Mohammedanism by the invading Islamic conquerors. Having lost their Chinese heritage in the invasion of their Islamic conquerors, they currently submit to the utter totalitarianism of modern-day Islam.

      Islam's imperialism expanded its territory at astoundingly high speed as it sought to seize control of the entire world. Islam's military conquests began inside Arabia first and within its own Mideast neighborhood, but then progressed to a rapid invasion of all the surrounding nations in Asia and Africa. Islam thus by violence and warfare gained control of a very large part of the Asian continent and the Africa continent, and ultimately it conquered even more-- all the islands of Indonesia likewise fell before the Islamic onslaught.

      By the 1400's A.D., Islam was conquering much of Europe likewise through the continuing imperialism of the arrogant Muslim Turks, who were busy expanding their Ottomon Turkish Empire... in a prolonged and very deliberate effort to subdue all of Europe and force it into a perpetual submission to Mohammedanism, the religion of their warrior-prophet. Now we know it better as "Islam," the religion of submission that has become so very familiar to all the enslaved victims of the invading Muslim conquerers.

      Virtually the entire territory of the modern-day nations of Spain and Portugal had already been living for a long time under domination by the conquering Moors (North Africa Muslims), who had invaded Spain via its close proximity to Morocco-- so this state of military occupation by Muslims had been going on, in the Iberian Peninsula of Europe, for about 700 years or more, already, when the Muslim Turks in the 1400's launched further assaults in the continuing Muslim effort to conquer Europe.

      And if the North Africa Muslims could invade, conquer, and occupy that much of Europe for seven centuries, plus Sicily and parts of southern Italy... why then should not the imperialistic Muslim Turks of the ever-growing Ottomon Empire likewise conquer and steal just a few more European nations?

      So that's just what they did, with the Turkish Muslims invading and conquering many regions of Europe that by the 1400's A.D. included portions of the modern-day nations of Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Albania, Serbia, and Croatia.

      By the 1600's A.D., Islamic imperialism had likewise conquered portions of the modern-day nations of Austria, Hungary, and Russia... not to mention nations like Armenia and Georgia, plus more distant places like modern-day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

      It is a repetitious pattern of immoral violence, of belligerence, and of unending military conquest... and it is certainly nothing new under the sun! I think it's time for a lot of blind Christians and even the secular Humanists who are currently living as residents in a Western culture to finally wake up and see the sunshine!

    17  Why  do you want to specify "YHWH God" as your God of Christians and Jews, instead of calling Him simply "God"?

      Today it's just not clear enough when a Christian speaks or writes the word "God" without specifying what kind of God it is to Whom you are referring. Too many people are already confused and claiming that Christians and Jews worship the same God as Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists… but this is not at all the case!

      YHWH is an English representation of the original Hebrew acronym that signifies the specific superbeing Who is the God Almighty of Abraham, Moses, and Yeshua (Jesus).       19  Aren't there some strange prophecies about Jesus that say he will actually come back some day to massacre all the Christians and Jews on Earth?

      Islamic prophecies declare, according to Walid Shoebat and other authorities on Islam, that a strange "Jesus" will someday return to Earth, but that this "Jesus" will then declare himself to have been secretly a Muslim all along (!) and actually a misrepresented worshiper of [the Muslim God, not YHWH] —a "Jesus" who is a normal human prophet who had never even claimed to be "the Son of God." So their returned "Jesus" will then join forces with the long-awaited Mahdi of the world's Muslim population… and their Muslim "Jesus" will then assist the Islamic Mahdi in a worldwide massacre of all Christians and Jews! The only Christian or non-Muslim survivors will be the few that were willing to reject their own religion and be conquered by the ever-terrorizing sword of Islam!

      Yet having denied their original faith in Jesus Christ, by finally taking the "mark" of anti-Christ Islam, these conquered "Christians" will surely be lost to Jesus Christ, eternally separated from Jewish Jesus/Yeshua and His Heavenly Father, YHWH God, the God of the Jews-- the God of Israel. The unfaithful "Christians" who, in that horribly-frightening moment of crisis choose not to become martyrs for Yeshua/Jesus... will have declared eternal allegiance instead to an anti-Christ religion and the Muslim God of War.

      The apostates will have then rejected the Holy Spirit of YHWH God and the deity of the Jewish Jesus/Yeshua, Whom YHWH God has ordained must someday reign as the King of Jews, King of Kings, King of Israel, and King of Earth... choosing instead to worship a God of War, Death, and Destruction. It's a very un-Jewish thing to do, and the God of the Jews will be extremely angry with those who make such a capitulation to Evil. YHWH God is a Jewish God, the Father in Heaven of His Divine Son, the Jewish Jesus/Yeshua... so He will be more than a little wrathful toward these latest apostates in the long history of Planet Earth!

      You see, He told us MORE THAN ONCE that He (God Almighty, the Great I AM, YHWH God) is A GOD OF LIGHT AND LIFE, and A GOD OF LOVE AND MERCY, and especially A GOD OF LIGHT in whom there is NO DARKNESS whatsoever. He is NOT a God of the Sword, a God of War, a God of Death and Destruction. He never claimed to be-- as some other false gods proclaim-- a God of Death, Destruction, and Hatefulness. YHWH God, the Triune God Who was once embodied/ incarnated in His Only Begotten Son, the Jewish Yeshua/Jesus of ancient Israel... declared Himself to be first of all a humble Servant of humanity. Yet Mohammed's God describes himself in the Koran as "the greatest of all deceivers" and as the God of War, as the God of the Sword, and as "the Most Proud One."

      YHWH God, the Triune God of Yeshua/Jesus, declared Himself over and over again, in both the Old Covenant & New Covenant books of the Bible, to be an Almighty God WHO HATES THE SWORD and wishes to rescue people from the DEATHSTYLE of the Sword! He wants them to find, instead, the Living Water of Yeshua/Jesus and a new LIFESTYLE in His Only Begotten Son, Yeshua/Jesus, the long-promised Messiah of Israel. The real King of Israel is the Jewish Jesus/Yeshua... Who is destined also to become one day THE KING OF EARTH!

      But according to Muslim prophecies, that is all a bunch of lies and deceptions that is found ONLY in the Jewish/Christian Bible! The Muslims' holy book and their own prophecies predict a very different course for the Earth's future! They believe that Muslims must KILL EVERY JEW ON EARTH in the great "Judgment Day" that comes from Mohammed's God of War. According to their Islamic prophecies and their own belief-system, there can never even be a "resurrection day" for Muslims unless the Muslims of this Earth (having all joined together in a worldwide jihad) have first killed off EVERY LAST JEW ON EARTH and have finally been successful in conquering all of the Earth for Mohammed's God!

      Then, after the "great day" of worldwide slaughter, there will at last exist the Muslim idea of "peace," which comes only (according to their teachings) when the ceaseless jihad of Islam has finally removed all other religions from the face of the Earth… an accomplishment that it will bring about only by violence, massacres, beheadings, and genocide… with the assistance of their long-awaited Mahdi.

      Even while waiting for their Mahdi to arrive on Earth and to finally lead them in the prophesied slaughter of all Christians and Jews, Muslims in all parts of the world are instructed to be ceaselessly at war against all non-Muslim nations of the Earth. Their prophecies teach that the Muslim world is to be ceaselessly in jihad against all non-Muslim regions of the Earth.

      So, it would seem that… in addition to having an immediate plan to exterminate all Jews and the entire nation of Israel, the militant Muslims are planning to eventually go after the other "filthy infidels" in the world—the ones in the US, in Britain, in Canada, in Australia, and in all other parts of the planet Earth. Not to mention the one billion Hindus in India and the many millions of Buddhists in East Asia!

      I've started reading quite a number of books on this subject lately, and these all strongly indicate—and thoroughly persuade me—that the main goal of Islam is worldwide SUBMISSION. They want everyone on Earth to someday be forced into a submission to Sharia Law. Read books about the history of jihad and Islamic imperialism—and you will be both shocked and amazed!

      Such "militant Islam" invasions of the West have been going on for a great many centuries already, with the early Islamic invasions of Europe seizing most of Spain and parts of many other European countries. . . and with the conquest of Spain, Italy, and Europe beginning as early as the 700's. Islam's goal of complete world domination through widespread slaughter began in the lifetime of its prophet and did not cease with the end of his lifetime on Earth. Rather they kept expanding the horizons for their dreams of conquest so that they might include the entire planet, and this belligerent culture of forceful Submission has continued in the old warlike mode right up to this very hour.

      Needless to say, it is believed by such tyrants and their armies, whether they be Nazis or Marxists or militant Muslims, that all other human beings must be made to submit to their own lust for power.

      In the year 1915, the Muslim Turks massacred over one million Armenian Christians in one of history's biggest atrocities-- as Turkey's warlike Muslims at that time slaughtered over one-third of the total Christian population of Armenia.       20  What's the big difference between the God of Jesus and the God of the Muslims?

      Yeshua taught us that His Father is a God of Love, a God of Light in Whom there is no darkness! He taught us that we must not ever hate other humans, because to hate our brother (i.e., a fellow human) is the same as to have already committed murder in one's heart! Therefore He instructed us that we must never hate our fellow humans (or even get angry, actually!), and He also told us that people would be able to recognize His disciples by the love that they display for their fellow humans.

      Yeshua/Jesus says in our Holy Christian Bible that we must not hate, nor ever murder another person… and instead we must forgive our fellow humans for their sins. Just as Father YHWH has been willing to forgive us of our own sins, so we must forgive and even love our own enemies!

      21  Is it a new and wrathful Jesus that comes back to Earth the second time, when the world at last sees the Return of the King and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ?

      When the real Jesus (Yeshua) returns to Earth in His Second Coming—in the awesome Return of King Jesus The Christ—He will come down with a great surprise for all the wicked people of this Earth. When King Jesus The Christ returns to Earth in His Second Coming, He brings with Him the Great Day of God's Wrath upon all the unGodly and wicked people of the planet.

      The Bible teaches that when Jesus comes back as the Returning King, He will be a lot more like a roaring Lion  of Judah… and a lot less like the humble Lamb of God that we knew in ancient times.

      The New Covenant book of Revelation indicates that one of the primary concerns of Yeshua/Jesus which triggers His ultimate Return to Earth is that the people on our planet "refuse to repent of their murders," of their lies, of their thefts, of their fornication, and of their sorcery.

      22  Did Jesus predict the conditions of the world in the time of His future Return to Earth?

      Yes. If you study the Christian Bible carefully you will learn that Jesus made a lot of predictions as prophecy about what the actual moral conditions—and the Earth's physical conditions, humanity's mental state, etc—would be like at the time of His Return. He made this prophecy verbally to the people of the ancient nation of Israel almost 2,000 years ago, and the time of its fulfillment is upon us; the near-total fulfillment means the Return of the King is now very near.

      Jesus/Yeshua also predicted that the day of His Return to Earth would be like the days of Noah right before that ancient world was destroyed by God with a Great Flood. What does the Bible say about the world in which Noah was living before the Flood came and drowned that wicked population?

      23  Why did all the Jews in ancient Israel refuse to accept Yeshua (Jesus) as their own Messiah, if He is really supposed to be the King of the Jews?

      First, it's not true to say that ALL of the ancient Jews refused to accept Yeshua as the Messiah. All of the first groups of Christians were actually believing Jews in ancient Israel. But most of the Jews back then, like the majority of Jews in the modern world today, only rejected Yeshua (Jesus) because they were so totally ignorant of the Holy Scriptures in their own Bible. They simply didn't believe what Moses had already written to indicate that the coming Messiah would be Yeshua of Nazareth, a descendent of King David via His virgin mother Mary… the God-Man born inside a stable in Bethlehem as the Only Begotten Son of Father YHWH God.

      Yeshua (Jesus) in speaking to the Jewish people of His own day, during his human time on Earth, declared that the reason the other Jews did not believe in Him was that they did not believe the writings of Moses… because, He insisted, Moses had written ABOUT HIM!

      Jewish people of that day didn't really know the books of Genesis and Exodus, which Moses had written under divine inspiration from God, nearly so well as they should have… nor did they understand the books of Moses half so well as they thought they did!

      Jesus spoke with utter truthfulness and correctness when He told the other Jews of His own time: "The reason you do not believe in Me is because you do not believe what Moses wrote—because he wrote about Me!"

      When we study carefully the writings of Moses in the books of Genesis and Exodus, we can now, in modern times, see more easily the many places where Yeshua is written about and foreshadowed in these first books of the Jewish Bible, which Christians also revere as the flawlessly accurate writings of the Word of God.

      In fact, Yeshua is foreshadowed (described) as the One True Messiah of Israel and as a Divine Person of the ONE Triune God YHWH, in one way or another, in every single book of the Jewish Bible!

      24  Why do you Christians so often like to call Jesus "The Christ"?

     "The Christ" is an honorary title which the wiser portion of humanity has bestowed upon Jesus, the son of the Virgin Mary, Who was actually God embodied in a human form. Our title "the Christ" declares that He was born as "the Anointed One" of God, promised to the Earth by God the Father since the Creation time of Genesis.       25  Are you Christians saying that Jesus is God, or that He is somehow "half-God"?

      While on Earth in His human body, Jesus often referred to Himself as both "the Son of God" and "the Son of Man," because His human body was the product of a divine interaction between the Virgin Mary's womb and the Holy Spirit of God!  Jesus should never be considered to be "half-God" or "half-Man," because the Bible teaches us that He was FULLY God at the same time when He was FULLY Man. He is the God-Man Interface, the Mediator between God and Humanity, and He is also, as the Bible clearly teaches us, "the only BEGOTTEN Son of God."

      A Christian should never maintain that Jesus was in any way "half-God." A very important part of basic Christian doctrine is the belief that Jesus was on Earth "fully God and fully human" at the same time, at least while He was in the physical form of His human-body incarnation for His 33 years of human-life on Earth.

      But His new state is a bit different now, at the current time, because He is currently existing in a Glorified Resurrection Body that has supernatural and supernormal abilities far beyond that of any human body.       26  In what ways is Jesus "the Anointed One" of God?

      Jesus is the "the Anointed One" because God The Father sent Him into our world to be a Holy One and a Perfect Son, expecting rightly that He would be the Only Sinless Human Being to ever live on our planet, and because God The Father appointed Him to serve a special function on Earth. Jesus is the Holy Son Who is "the Anointed One" of God because His Father had declared for Him a special destiny—anticipating that Jesus would serve humanity as its One True Prophet, its One True Priest, and its One True King.

      As the Son of God, He was also the Voice of God on Earth and the One True Prophet of Earth's history. The Bible declares to us that Jesus in His time on Earth explained for humanity many truths and mysteries that had never before been revealed—not since the actual Creation of the world. Jesus declared that He is the Word of God, and asserted that He Himself is One Who is by far wiser than King Solomon. He declared that He Himself is the only human person who could ever talk reliably about Heaven and Earth, because He was the only human who had already seen both Heaven and Earth!       27  Why do you want to believe what the Apostle John said when he declared that Jesus was "the Word of God" and that He was there with God at the Beginning of the Universe?

      The Bible teaches us in the Old Testament that "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God endures forever." Both Jesus and His apostle John clearly declared that Jesus IS the Word of God, and that He had been with God The Father from the very Creation of the Universe. In fact, it teaches us that God The Son was eternally a Holy Person, one of the Three Divine Persons in a Triune God, and that the whole Universe was actually made THROUGH Him and FOR Him.

      Jesus while on Earth in human form declared that "The heavens and Earth will pass away, but MY WORDS will never pass away." In saying this, Jesus again asserted that He was/is and forever will be the undying and eternal Word of God!

      Jesus also said to the Jews of His time in Israel, "Before Abraham was born, I AM."

      By this He meant to tell the Jews that He was God-in-human-form, that He had existed for many centuries, long before their great patriarch Abraham had ever been born! His fellow Jews thought that was blasphemy, so they thought He should be killed for His offense. But Jesus was only speaking the Truth to them… Truth that they were too blind to see.

      In seeing the face and character of the God-Man Jesus/Yeshua, the Jewish people of ancient Israel should have been able to recognize that in Him only could they truly see the face and character of His Father in Heaven.

      Jesus also said to those ancient Jewish brothers, "I and the Father are ONE." But only some of the Jews could recognize the face of God in Yeshua/Jesus. Many remained blind to who He really was.

      Maybe that's why Jesus/Yeshua also said that "I have come into the world to make those with blind eyes able to see… and to reveal that many people who think they can see are actually blind."

      28  Okay, you've given us a summary of His God-appointed role as the One True Prophet of the Earth! What about His other two roles… as Earth's One True Priest, for example?

      In His role as the Earth's One True Priest, Jesus The Christ brought salvation to humanity, ending forever the need for any animal sacrifices to be offered up as a way to make peace with God. Humanity's sinfulness had put it at war with God's righteousness for several millennia, and it was damaging His Creation, both the world and all the creatures in it! It had been that way since the early beginnings in the Creation time of Genesis, soon after human sin and Satanic murders had begun to curse life on Earth. God Almighty had very early told all of humanity to ask forgiveness for their sins through a repetitious pattern of animal sacrifices.

      The best of these early sacrifices would usually be a perfect and unblemished lamb offered upon an altar to God. This pattern for redemption was established in ancient times to prepare humanity for the Lamb of God (Jesus The Christ) Who would later come down to the Earth. God hoped to have the earlier people of the Earth see in all these many animal sacrifices just how painful and injurious our Satanic sinfulness can be to living creatures. He wanted to teach us that a simple obedience to God's Law is much better than trying to make a "compensation" for our sins through an animal sacrifice.

      But Jesus served obediently His righteous Father God, and so He rightly offered Himself up as the Pure and Perfect Lamb of God, as the unblemished sacrifice Who died for the sins of ALL humanity upon the holy altar of His cross! Abraham could not really bear to see his own son Isaac offered up to the Father God as a living human sacrifice to be killed upon a stone altar… even though Abraham was determined in his heart to be fully obedient to God's will in that sacrifice. This is why God was so pleased with Abraham's behavior, considering him to be a man of true Faith and unswerving loyalty. Since God knew that fact very well, He had at the last moment rewarded Abraham for his unbreakable faith and obedience. God at the last possible moment had miraculously provided Abraham with the sudden appearance of a ram (a male sheep) that could serve as a substitute and as an alternative sacrifice, so that Abraham's only son might continue to live.

      In the English-speaking world of the Western nations, people sometimes talk of what's called "a scapegoat," and of the idea of using someone else as "a scapegoat." What does that mean exactly? It means a person can sometimes escape death or punishment by letting someone else take on a lot of guilt and pain that is given to "the scapegoat" when it really should fall upon the other person instead! To have a "scapegoat" was originally the idea that a certain punishment would fall on a designated goat and allow some person to escape from his own due punishment.

      In a similar way, the human sacrifice of Jesus, our ever-obedient Savior, upon the wooden cross that God the Father had ordained for Him… has provided all of humanity with a chance to escape Death and Hell. But you have to be willing to accept His free gift of salvation, His offer to be "the scapegoat" or sacrificial lamb for all of your sins! You have to accept the sacrificial gift of the Father God and His Sinless Son Jesus with gratitude, respect, and admiration.       29  And you say He has a third role as Earth's One True King?

      In His God-ordained role as the One True King of the Earth, we can easily see that Jesus The Christ—although anointed by God and appointed by Him for the role of King over all the Earth's people—has yet to be enthroned as King over all the population of the Earth. This will happen when Jesus The Christ returns to our Earth in the near future, descending from the sky in a highly visible return to Earth! In our Christmas songs, we often sing that "Born is the King of Israel," but then we will see the miraculous Return of the King to Earth. Then we will see Jesus rule as King of All People on Earth for at least 1000 years, as He rules Earth from a throne in the city of Jerusalem! Then Jesus will be indeed "the King of Israel"!       30  If Jesus was God-in-human-form and lived a sinless life on Earth, how can you Christians still also call Him "a human being"?

      The Holy Bible teaches us that Jesus was simultaneously living as FULLY GOD and FULLY HUMAN when He stayed on Earth in a normal human form. He was tempted by Satan like all human beings, and yet He never sinned at all. Jesus never sinned in any way because He was so close to God the Father and God the Holy Spirit at all times, and because He was determined to be OBEDIENT to the will of His Father God in all things. He continued in this sinless state even through His crucifixion, knowing that it was God's will that He should in this way become the Savior of the World… a means of salvation for all persons who should choose to take His free gift of rescue rather than continuing in damnable sins and in a sinful allegiance to Satan.

      So Jesus was a human being because of the reality that He was inside a human body and was tempted by Satan just like a human being is tempted. Yeshua/Jesus was very much a human being and was very much like all human beings in many respects.

      He was however NOT like all other human beings in the matter of sin, because He never opposed the will of His Father God in Heaven... and never turned away from His Father.

      Since God the Father is completely Holy and Pure, when God The Son came to the Earth in a human form, He was expected to remain just as Holy and Righteous as His Father in Heaven.       31  If Jesus is God as you Christians say He is, then how will you still believe that He can be "the Son of God"— at the same time that He is also God?

      A divine spirit-entity, God The Son, was for a time earthbound while He was embodied for 33 years in the human body of Yeshua (Jesus), Who was born in Bethlehem, and Who lived for most of his human lifetime in the town of Nazareth in Israel. God The Son is eternal, existing always with the other two Divine Persons of our Triune God, Who are properly named God The Father and God The Holy Spirit. God The Son had always been with God The Father and God The Spirit at all times prior—since before Time was even created!—and He had always been UNITED in ONENESS with those two Divine Persons, even BEFORE the Creation of our Universe. This is why Jesus could speak to the people of Israel and say, even while He was still in a human form before them, that "Before Abraham was even born, I AM."

      Jesus was telling the people of Israel by those words that He was of God and that He, as a spirit-entity (as a Divine Person of the Triune God), had been with God long before He had even been born in human form. The fact that He used the precise words "I AM" in this sentence to the people in Israel was meant to be a clear revelation to them of the Truth of His identity! God The Father had told their ancestor Moses, many centuries before, that His name was "I AM Who I AM."  When Jesus said to the people of Israel, "Before Abraham was born, I AM," He meant that they should understand Him to be saying clearly (again) that He was God in human form!

      But we can also call God The Son by another name, the "Son of God," because He is also the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son of God. This means that Jesus' spirit was divinely incarnated in a special human body, because He was conceived in the womb of a young virgin woman without the existence or assistance of any human father. The baby Jesus was conceived by Mary by a miraculous interaction between her womb and the Holy Spirit of God. No human father was involved in His incarnation within the human body of the baby Jesus.       32  If Jesus isn't an actual birth-son of Joseph, Mary's husband, then how can you Christians believe that He will still qualify as a proper descendent of King David, in order to be correctly proclaimed as the promised "Messiah" of Israel?

      While not physically descended from His adoptive father Joseph, who was Jesus' long-time guardian during His earliest years on Earth, Jesus The Christ is physically descended from His mother Mary. So all of her ancestors were also the ancestors of Jesus.       33  If Jesus was miraculously born of a young virgin named Mary, then how can you Christians explain the fact that the Bible talks about Jesus having siblings—physical brothers and sisters that were of His own family?

      Yes, that's true; He did have brothers and sisters in the family of his mother Mary and of his adoptive father Joseph. In fact, the Bible tells us that one of His brothers later on became a major leader of the early Jerusalem church, and it was this brother James who authored the New Testament Letter of James. There are at least two ways to explain this reality.

      Protestant Christians always insist that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary as her first child (and her only miraculous conception), and yet they have no problem with the idea that Mary later must have had other conceptions/children in the normal way, by sexual interaction in the ordinary way with Joseph… who was by then her legally-bound husband. We thus see Jesus as the first child (and only miraculous conception) of the Virgin Mary, followed by other children conceived in an ordinary way.

      Roman Catholic Christians throughout history have often preferred to believe that the Virgin Mary remained eternally a virgin, so they sometimes will maintain that they believe Mary lived her entire lifetime as a virgin, and even died later as a virgin. In this case, Roman Catholics will usually suggest that the siblings of Jesus who are mentioned in the Bible were probably Joseph's other children by a previous marriage. To support their belief that these siblings mentioned in the Bible were only half-brothers and half-sisters of Jesus, the Roman Catholic Christians sometimes like to insist that Joseph must have been a lot older than Mary when he got married to her… and they sometimes even speculate that Joseph could have died early on, while Jesus was still a young person.

      This speculation, as these certain Roman Catholics may suggest, makes it much easier to believe that Mary remained eternally a virgin. However, the Bible makes it clear that Joseph was still alive and was still Mary's husband until Jesus was at least 12 years old. So Joseph certainly didn't die very early on. Even if Joseph died while Jesus was still a youth and Mary never remarried, she would have had to remain a virgin for an extremely great number of years!       34  Why do Christians now call the Christ "Jesus" instead of using His Hebrew name "Yeshua"?

      The name "Jesus" is our modern English version of his original Hebrew name, which we should actually pronounce more like "Yeh-SHOO-ah" and could better transliterate as "Yeshua," and it comes to us in its modern English form via transitions into Greek usage and then the "Old English" usage.  In the ancient "Old English" rendition of "Jesus," the letter "J" would have had a "Y" sound, so the "Old English" pronunciation of "Jesus" would have been spoken as "Yeh-SOOs," which is a little more like "Yeh-SHOO-ah" – but it is still rather inexact.
